This woman is from our Philippines Village Bank in partnership with the Center for Agriculture and Rural Development (CARD). CARD was created in 1998 to establish a bank to serve and to be owned and managed by landless rural women in the Philippines. She is using her Village Bank loan to help her with her sari-sari store (grocery store).
