Helping Women + Changing Lives Luncheon
Envision a world with communities infused with economic self-sufficiency.
With education and access to funds for businesses, women are changing their lives and the lives of their families. Through Alliance Foundation, women around the globe are envisioning a better reality for themselves, their families and their communities. Our Fundraiser Luncheons help fund women pursuing higher education and women building their own businesses.
On September 8, 2016, Patricia Foley Hinnen of Capital Sisters International was honored with the Global Service Award for her 15 years service with the Village Bank Program, which she helped Alliance of Professional Women start in 2002.

Under Patricia’s leadership, The APW has funded thousands of women’s micro loans through 25 Village Banks in 11 countries, including Chile, Ghana, Guatemala, India, Malawi, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru, Philippines, Sri Lanka and Thailand. Patricia is dedicated to working with developing countries to provide micro loans to women entrepreneurs.
With your support, you can help us help other women on their path to self-sufficiency. We do this in three ways: through Village Banks - Global Micro Credit Lending (international support), local scholarships, and Community Outreach.
